Schematically modern patterned glued timber is manufactured as follows: |
- Logs are sawn up into boards (bars);
- Boards are dried in drying kilns to humidity content 10 2%;
- Material is inspected for the presence of visible defects. Damaged sections are removed and the remaining sections are mini-tenon-jointed;
- After drying the boards are treated with fire-retardants and antiseptics and planed to 1st class finish;
- Boards are glued together using special environment friendly glue under pressure (using presses);
- Wall beam of special pattern or bar is shaped of dry wood stack on four-sided machines;
- Finished beams are trimmed (edged) to design and slotted on high precision milling equipment;
- Each element is marked, owing to which erection of home reminds the children meccano game and requires no time-consuming carpentry works.
